Library Staff 50/50 Lottery 2019/2020
We are happy to announce that the Library Staff 50/50 Lottery is back! This is a valuable fundraising initiative run by the Calgary Public Library Foundation that allows staff to donate through payroll deduction, with 50% of each prize draw supporting the Library and 50% going to a lucky Library staff member.
All proceeds from the 50/50 lottery support the highest needs across the Calgary Public Library system. All staff are welcome to participate, provided that they have worked enough hours in that pay period to cover their ticket cost.
Tickets are $5.00 each and staff may purchase more than one ticket to increase their chances of winning. There are 300 tickets available for each draw. Draws take place the Thursday before pay day.
In order to be included in the first draw on Thursday, August 8, staff members must return the Enrolment form to Courtney at the Foundation or by email (email@example.com) no later than 12:00PM on Tuesday, July 23. Thereafter, staff wishing to purchase tickets must return their completed Enrolment Forms to Courtney no later than 12:00PM on the non-payweek Tuesday in order to be included in the following week’s draw. Participation in the 50/50 lottery will continue on an ongoing basis until the staff member cancels in writing to the Foundation.
