Hues of Pink Added to Calgary’s Skyline

Starting tonight at dusk, Calgarians will be tickled pink by coloured lights along the prow of the New Central Library. Both the temporary light installation and the shape of the building, which was inspired by an ancient oil lamp, act as a symbol for the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom.

You are invited to add a piece of you to the New Central Library by participating in the Windows of Opportunity Campaign and support the entire Calgary Public Library System.  Calgarians can choose from three distinct levels of giving; $100, $2018 and $5,000 at www.mylibrarywindow.ca. Each level offers different benefits, and all three include adding a name or message to a New Central Library window frame. All donations will support life-changing programs and services and 19 libraries across Calgary.
